The brief

The S.F. Experience runs selection-style endurance weekends and needed a site that sells places and runs the back-office, not a brochure. We built one Node app that serves this site and its sister training site, with media and config on Cloudflare R2 so the team edits everything from an admin page — no developer needed to add an event.

What it does

• Event calendar. Upcoming dates with places left, kit lists and what to expect, editable from the admin.
• Online bookings. Stripe checkout with confirmation emails, plus manual entries for staff.
• Admin back-office. Add events, edit course pages, upload images and manage bookings from one shared admin.
• Shared engine. The same codebase runs The Training Wing, so a fix on one site lands on both.
• Fast media. Images and config served from Cloudflare R2 with no build step for content changes.
• Transactional email. Booking and enquiry emails through Resend with the brand's own domain.

How it works

1. Pick an eventThe calendar lists every upcoming date with places left.
2. Read what to expectEach event page has the kit list, the format and who it is for.
3. Book and payStripe checkout, then a confirmation email from the brand's own domain.
4. Staff see it instantlyBookings appear in the shared admin, where staff add dates and edit pages.
