How should I show a certificate of analysis on my product page?

⚡ Short answer

Show a short certificate card on the product page itself: compound, batch number, purity, lab name and test date, with a link to the original report. Do not hide it in a PDF.

STEP 1

What to include

Compound and amount tested.
Batch number, matching the batch you are shipping.
Purity result.
Lab name and report number.
Test date.
A link to the original report.
STEP 2

Why it matters

Buyers in this sector check proof before they buy. A card they can read on their phone is far more convincing than a PDF link at the bottom of the page.

Underwriters reviewing a merchant account also look for it.

STEP 3

Only show what you have

Show certificates only for products and batches you have actually tested. If a batch has no certificate yet, say so rather than showing an old one.
